Privacy Policy

AttuneTogether is a relationship support platform designed to help people slow down, reflect, and communicate with more care.

Our privacy approach is simple: collect only what the product needs, keep private work private by default, and make partner sharing and Intelligence processing intentional.

Account and access information

• Email address and name you provide
• Authentication data handled through Supabase
• Consent timestamps and the privacy policy version accepted at signup
• Beta access, reviewer access, invite codes, and onboarding progress
• Basic app, device, and install context when needed to support iOS or web access

Relationship and shared feature data

• Partner connection, couple pairing, and partner-linking consent
• Shared Agreements, pause and return preferences, and later edits to those agreements
• Repair invitations, Hear Each Other invitations, partner readiness responses, and session state
• Shared activity between partners when a feature creates shared state

Moments, tools, and profile data

• Quick Attune responses, including capacity, state, connection, needs, and timing
• Deep Attune entries when you save or share them
• Attune Profile answers and the structured profile summary used for Intelligence access
• Affirmations, reactions, and Our Space items you send, receive, open, clear, or withdraw
• Insights usage events and safe operational metadata used to understand product reliability

Beta research and feedback

• Optional beta intake and baseline responses, including structured tags and survey answers
• Feedback you submit, such as type, title, description, page URL, and safe browser/device metadata
• Optional feedback screenshots you choose to submit; screenshots are converted to JPEG and stored in a private bucket

Notifications and mobile delivery

• Notification preferences, preset choices, delivery decisions, and notification events
• iOS push device records if you enable push notifications, including APNs token, token hash, app version, device model, OS version, and permission state
• Delivery-attempt metadata for email, in-app, or push notifications, such as provider, status, skip reason, and error code

Intelligence is a gated feature that can add AI-assisted interpretation to observed patterns. It is not available to everyone, and broader rollout remains controlled.

• Current Intelligence uses your Attune Profile and safe pattern metadata after access and setup gates are satisfied.
• Your partner's Attune Profile is used in your interpretations only if your partner has chosen to share it for that purpose.
• Raw user-authored writing, such as Scratch Pad text, private Clarify Self answers, conversations, and private Deep Attune reflections, is not sent to AI by the current runtime.
• Intelligence event logs store telemetry-safe metadata such as model ID, prompt/context versions, latency, token counts, estimated cost, status, failure reason, consent snapshot, and sources used.
• We do not store raw prompts, raw profile payloads, generated model output, or model reasoning in the Intelligence event log.

Intelligence is designed to suggest possibilities, not diagnose, label, score, or take sides between partners.

We intentionally do not:

• store Scratch Pad writing content
• monitor conversations outside structured AttuneTogether flows
• access your contacts, camera, or microphone
• use advertising trackers or sell personal data
• assign psychological or clinical diagnoses
• create relationship health scores, verdicts, or rankings
• use beta research responses as Intelligence source-consent input

We use data to:

• operate accounts, authentication, beta access, and partner linking
• power real-time relationship features, Our Space, shared sessions, and partner notifications
• show partner visibility when you link, send, invite, react, or publish through a shared feature
• generate Insights and gated Intelligence as pattern observation and interpretation, not judgment
• support product reliability, security, abuse prevention, data export, account deletion, and support workflows
• review beta feedback and optional research responses to improve the product

We do not sell personal data.

Private by default

• Scratch Pad writing content, because it is not stored
• Clarify Self outputs you do not save or share
• Private tool work that is not intentionally sent, invited, published, or saved into a shared surface
• Attune Profile contents, except for bounded Intelligence use when sharing consent allows it
• Unshared drafts, private reflections, and private feedback submissions

Shared by action

Some information is visible to your partner when you link accounts or use a shared feature. Shared actions include:

• linking with a partner
• completing Quick Attunes that inform the shared relationship signal after connection
• sending affirmations or reactions
• creating or editing Shared Agreements
• inviting your partner into Hear Each Other or Repair & Reconnect
• publishing outputs to Our Space

Private tool content is not shared automatically. Sharing happens through a partner-linking, sending, inviting, reacting, or publishing action.

• Scratch Pad writing content is not stored.
• Active account, relationship, and shared feature data is generally stored while your account is active.
• Feedback screenshots are retained for up to 90 days and then purged from storage.
• Intelligence LLM event metadata is pruned after 90 days by the retention job.
• Partner status indicators expire automatically after a short window.
• Some shared notes, invitations, affirmations, and unread connection offers in Our Space may expire or be cleared according to their product lifecycle.
• Push device records can be disabled when you unregister or disable notifications, and auth-linked rows are removed when your account is deleted.
• You may request deletion at any time, and you can delete your account from Settings.

We use Supabase for PostgreSQL database storage, authentication, storage, and access controls based on user, couple, and service ownership. Some service-role operations are used for admin, notification, screenshot, and retention workflows.

However, no system is 100% secure.

Depending on where you live, you may be able to:

• access or export data associated with your account
• correct inaccurate account information
• delete your account
• control notification preferences and unregister push devices
• control what private tool outputs you choose to share with your partner
• turn Intelligence profile sharing on or off when the feature is available to you
• withdraw from shared sessions

AttuneTogether is not intended for users under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will review the account promptly.

AttuneTogether is not therapy, counseling, medical advice, mental health care, or crisis intervention. It is a structured relationship support tool.

If you are in immediate danger or crisis, contact emergency services or a crisis support resource in your area.

We may update this policy. If we make significant changes, we may notify users in the app or by email and update the date and policy version above.
