1. Overview
AttuneTogether is a relationship support platform designed to help couples navigate emotional moments with care, structure, and privacy.

Tool usage data
| Tool | Data behavior |
|---|---|
| Scratch Pad | Writing content is not stored. We may store non-content completion metadata, such as an exit choice. |
| Clarify Self | Stored only if you choose a saving or sharing next step. "Keep this for myself" creates no saved session row. |
| Grounding | Stores minimal non-content event metadata, such as the exit destination. |
| Hear Each Other / Repair & Reconnect | Structured session data is shared between partners as part of the flow. |
| Our Space | Contains only intentionally shared or invited relational objects. |
3. What We Do Not Collect
We intentionally do not:
- store Scratch Pad writing content
- monitor conversations outside structured AttuneTogether flows
- access your contacts, camera, or microphone
- use advertising trackers or sell personal data
- assign psychological or clinical diagnoses
- create relationship health scores or judgments
4. How Data Is Used
We use data to:
- power real-time relationship features
- show partner visibility when you link, send, invite, or publish through a shared feature
- generate Insights as pattern observation, not judgment
- support product reliability, security, and safety
- provide account export, deletion, and support workflows
We do not sell personal data.
5. Shared vs Private Data
Private data
- Scratch Pad writing content
- Clarify Self outputs you do not save or share
- Private tool work that is not intentionally sent, invited, or published
- Unshared drafts and private reflections
Shared data
Some information is visible to your partner when you choose to link accounts or use a shared feature. Shared actions include:
- linking with a partner
- sending affirmations or reactions
- inviting your partner into Hear Each Other or Repair & Reconnect
- publishing outputs to Our Space
Private tool content is not shared automatically. Sharing happens through a partner-linking, sending, inviting, or publishing action.
6. Data Retention
- Scratch Pad writing content is not stored.
- Active account and relationship data is generally stored while your account is active.
- Partner status indicators expire automatically after a short window.
- Some stale invitations and unread connection offers in Our Space may expire automatically.
- Shared notes in Our Space may remain as relationship records unless deleted or affected by account deletion.
- You may request deletion at any time, and you can delete your account from Settings.
7. Security
We use Supabase for PostgreSQL database storage and authentication, secure authentication practices, and access controls based on user and couple ownership.
However, no system is 100% secure.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may be able to:
- access or export data associated with your account
- correct inaccurate account information
- delete your account
- control what private tool outputs you choose to share with your partner
- withdraw from shared sessions
To ask about your data, email privacy@attunetogether.app.
9. Children
AttuneTogether is not intended for users under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will review the account promptly.
10. What AttuneTogether Is Not
AttuneTogether is not therapy, counseling, medical advice, mental health care, or crisis intervention. It is a structured relationship support tool.
If you are in immediate danger or crisis, contact emergency services or a crisis support resource in your area.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. If we make significant changes, we may notify users in the app or by email and update the date above.
