Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, joining a beta, accepting an invite, or using AttuneTogether, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. What This Product Is and Is Not

AttuneTogether is:

  • a relationship support tool
  • a structured communication aid
  • a reflection, regulation, and emotional processing system
  • a beta product that may include limited-access features, including iOS, notifications, Insights, and Intelligence

AttuneTogether is not:

  • therapy or counseling
  • medical advice or mental health treatment
  • crisis intervention
  • a diagnostic system
  • a substitute for professional support

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • use the product respectfully and in good faith
  • not misuse the platform to monitor, pressure, harass, coerce, impersonate, or harm your partner or another person
  • not attempt to access another user's account, invite, device record, notification, or data without authorization
  • not reverse engineer, scrape, exploit, overload, or interfere with the service
  • provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure
  • only submit feedback, screenshots, beta responses, or profile information that you have the right to provide

4. Your Content and Sharing Choices

You keep ownership of the content you enter into AttuneTogether.

You give AttuneTogether permission to use your content only as needed to operate, secure, support, analyze, and improve the service; provide features you request; and honor the sharing choices you make in the product.

  • You are responsible for what you choose to share with your partner.
  • Private tool outputs become shared only through a product action such as sending, inviting, reacting, saving to Our Space, or otherwise choosing a shared next step.
  • Some shared records may remain visible to your partner according to the feature lifecycle, unless deleted, cleared, expired, withdrawn, or affected by account deletion.

5. Partner Interactions

  • Some features involve shared experiences with a partner.
  • Partner-linking must be voluntary and known to both people.
  • Shared Agreements, pause rules, return rules, invitations, readiness responses, and shared sessions are part of the couple experience.
  • Later edits to Shared Agreements may take effect immediately and may notify the partner for review.
  • The platform does not mediate disputes, determine who is right, or guarantee any relationship outcome.

6. Intelligence, AI, and Insights

  • Insights and Intelligence are informational support features, not professional advice.
  • AI-assisted Intelligence may be limited to specific users, cohorts, or staff verification periods.
  • AI outputs are generated from limited context and may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable.
  • You should not treat any AI or Insights output as a diagnosis, instruction, emergency recommendation, or relationship verdict.
  • We may rate-limit, pause, disable, or fall back from AI features for reliability, cost, safety, or quality reasons.

7. Beta, Mobile, and Notifications

AttuneTogether may offer beta access, TestFlight or iOS features, push notifications, reviewer programs, intake surveys, and limited-release experiments.

  • Beta features may change, break, disappear, or behave differently across web, PWA, and native iOS environments.
  • Notifications are convenience features. They may be delayed, suppressed, duplicated, missed, or routed differently based on settings, provider behavior, or device state.
  • You are responsible for managing operating-system notification permissions and account access on your own devices.

8. Privacy Expectations

  • Some tools are private by design.
  • Some features create shared artifacts, shared sessions, or partner-visible state.
  • You control whether private tool outputs become shared.
  • Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Safety and Crisis Support

AttuneTogether is not designed for emergencies, abuse intervention, self-harm risk, violence, legal disputes, custody disputes, or situations where one partner is unsafe.

If you are in immediate danger or crisis, contact emergency services or a crisis support resource in your area.

10. Availability

We may modify features, limit access, pause or discontinue services, and run beta features with limited reliability.

The service may be unavailable at times due to maintenance, outages, provider issues, device behavior, or circumstances outside our control.

11. Limitation of Liability

AttuneTogether is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent allowed by law.

We are not liable for:

  • relationship outcomes
  • emotional distress arising from use of the service
  • missed, delayed, or failed notifications
  • beta feature instability, data delays, or unavailable AI output
  • indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • decisions you or your partner make based on content, interpretations, notifications, or interactions in the app

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the platform, create safety risks, or interfere with the service.

You may stop using AttuneTogether at any time and may delete your account from Settings.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of AttuneTogether after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.
